Windows 10 only has 2.4 GHz WiFi bandwidth and not 5 GHz
The main difference between the two frequencies is the range and bandwidth that the bands provide.
The 2.4 GHz band provides coverage over long distances but transmits data at low speeds. The 5 GHz band provides low coverage but transmits data at high speeds.
The range is lower in the 5 GHz band because higher frequencies cannot penetrate solid objects, such as walls and floors. However, high-frequency data can be transmitted faster than low-frequency data, so the 5 GHz band allows you to upload and download files faster.
