Work With Ray Tracing

View the design automatically or manually, specify the mode, view and save it as an image, or turn off ray tracing.

Changing the orientation of the view or entering any other command interrupts the ray tracing process. When appropriate, such as when using orbit, the ray tracing process resumes when the trigger command is interrupted. For other commands, ray tracing is automatically disabled. Use the access point on the ribbon to re-enable ray tracing.

When you enable ray tracing, the bar opens in the lower right corner of the screen, providing access to three modes. The process begins with the default settings. When complete, the ray-tracing bar is automatically hidden after a few seconds. Moving the cursor to the bar area shows the bar again.

If a ray-traced rendering process takes more than 3 seconds, a progress bar appears in the lower right corner of the screen. Clicking the X turns ray tracing off and the progress bar closes.

How do I activate ray tracing in Shadow of the Tomb Raider?

You must activate Ray Tracing to use it. Just go to the Video> Graphics Options screen and select the Medium, High, or Ultra settings.
